The project was part of a business transformation process that had seen Telikom PNG establish a new, more efficient, modern and commercial operation.


In July 2014 Sable37 was selected to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3 at Telikom PNG. The project was part of a business transformation process at Telikom that had seen them reduce their work force in a drive to establish a new more efficient, modern and commercial operation. The project scope for Phase I included replacing SAP financials, project accounting, supply chain and warehousing, implementing a new Payroll and HR, and delivering a fully integrated Retail operation for the 22 branches of Telikom.


Telikom PNG went live in January 2015 on time and to budget and are now rolling out Phase II and III, covering Service Management, Time Sheets and Advanced Project Management.

Why Sable37?


Telikom PNG needed a partner that was flexible and open to working under pressure with a tight timeframe. Sable37 was selected as a good match for the PNG environment and internal culture and this was demonstrated throughout the project. Sable37 was able to step in and cover a range of extra tasks including the full data conversion, additional end user training and go live support beyond normal project delivery around critical areas, including payroll.
