PayFields joins Sable37 family
Sable37 has acquired a 50 per cent stake in Payfields, a provider of payroll and HR processing technology.
This acquisition is part of Sable37’s effort to help organisations use the power of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (formerly Dynamics CRM and AX) to achieve their goals, solve complex business problems and get the most out of their investment in technology.
Payfields’ payroll technology enables Sable37 to streamline implementation, enhances product demand, and provides easily configurable, reliable and robust payroll processing. Designed from the ground up, on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (formerly Microsoft Dynamics AX) Payfields integrates seamlessly with the business whatever the location.
Under the Sable37 umbrella, Payfields’ payroll solution will be called Xalari. The solution is currently localised for 12 countries in APAC, with plans to enter the US market in the third quarter of 2017. Xalari offers flexibility, control and the ability to adapt to the unique complexities of organisations’ payroll requirements and has comprehensive payroll rules to meet statutory compliance, stringent payroll requirements, comprehensive auditing and security facilities. Offered in the cloud and on premise, the solution is suitable for a multitude of businesses.
Gideon Vos, Managing Director for PayFields explains that Xalari was developed for organisations seeking to make the most of their technology investments. “Our approach to Xalari both from a product and process perspective is truly revolutionary. By joining the Sable37 family, we will be well-positioned to help organisations solve challenges around critical business processes – payroll and HR processing technology.”
Martin Wildsmith, Global Managing Director Sable37 said, “We’re thrilled to have Payfields join the Sable37 family. The Payfields team has grown a fantastic business centred on business processes that are critical to most organisations around the world. Together with our revolutionary solutions, we can accelerate the growth of the Xalari product line, as well as our business to help businesses operate more efficiently and make the most of their technology implementations.”
Brad Goldberg, National Technology Manager Southern Cross Group
Southern Cross Group elected to standardise financial and enterprise resource planning (ERP) functions on Microsoft Dynamics AX. This enabled the business to consolidate applications and standardise business data and reporting on a single platform. The company also needed a comprehensive payroll solution capable of integrating with Microsoft Dynamics AX and the flexibility to adapt to the business’ specific needs. “We chose Xalari to manage our payroll function for several reasons. It is built for the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment, which makes integration much simpler than with any of the other options we considered,” said Brad Goldberg, National Technology Manager, Southern Cross Group. “Our staff no longer need to jump across disparate line-of-business applications to complete payroll. Xalari is user-friendly, customised to our business and enables us to save time, reduce error rates and automate processes, “he added.
